Clarkes Beach, Byron Bay
At the southern end of Main Beach is Clarks beach, great for families. There are usually large swathes of shallower water and sand pools when the tide goes out, which is great for kids. It’s also possible when the tide is low to go on a mini adventure to Fisherman’s lookout. Facing north it is usually sheltered unless there’s a northerly.
