Clunes
Clunes is the closest village to the cottage. The Clunes General Store is a one stop shopselling food and general goods and it’s also a bottle shop and post office. Adjacent to the General Store in a cute original weatherboard house painted black with a yellow door is Arte hairdressers. Just past the General Store you will find Uncle Pete’s second hand books and at the front a collection of local goodies, crafts, soaps and eco products. Further along is Clunes Auto and Service Centre, having been there for 50 years, service is with a smile and a chat, and yes they do on occasion come out and fill the car up for you.
